Garden Journal Binding
Sunday, February 11
It’s that time of year when a gardener’s dreams turn to spring. Come, make a tacket-bound garden journal with a French goatskin spine. It will have room for your plans, your dreams, and your packets of seeds.
No book binding experience whatsoever is required of participants in this workshop. If you can plant a straight row of peas or prune a rose, you have all of the skill necessary. Even if you don’t give a hill of beans about gardening, you’re welcome to come to this workshop and make yours a travel journal, a diary, a photo album, etc. Tacket books date from the second century, and are very useful as books in which to tape, glue, or stuff things.
